The idea grew out of real Scottish folklore, dry documentary style storytelling, fragments of old species records, and a community that formed slowly around it.People arrived out of curiosity and stayed for stranger reasons. They found a corner of the internet that made them smile, that let them feel part of something quietly shared. For many, it became a small piece of Scotland they could carry with them, no matter where in the world they happened to be.
For more than a century, the Haggis Wildlife Foundation has quietly recorded, protected, and kept alive the legend of Scotland's wild haggis. Many dismiss the creature with a shrug or a laugh. Those who know the stories, and the hills where they are told, tend to feel differently.
